Spider Veins

Spider veins (telangiectasia or venulectasias) are enlarged veins near the skin surface that appear purple, red, or blue. Commonly found on the legs, spider veins can occur on the face and other parts of the body. These enlarged veins are usually short unconnected lines or arranged in a sunburst pattern resembling a spider's web. Unsightly spider veins occur in a small, unnoticable area, or they can cover a large area of skin.
Spider veins affect mostly women, but also occur in men. Although for most people spider veins occur in their legs, there are instances where fine veins in the face and nose area become enlarged and darker in color. Chronic sun exposure can also cause spider veins, as well as other forms of skin damage such as wrinkles, freckles, moles, and skin cancer. Trauma, such as bruising, can also lead to spider veins. Treatment with the Intense Pulsed light can help to diminish superficial leg and facial spider veins but can't treat varicose veins.

Put the latest technology to work without experiencing any downtime. NouveauDerm pulse light treatments are quick and effective for permanent relief from bothersome spider veins.
